Mixed Pizza

Ingredients

  • 500 g plain flour
  • 7 g dry yeast (or fresh yeast if preferred)
  • Warm water (around 250 ml, adjust as needed)
  • Pinch of salt (to taste, added by eye)
  • Olive oil
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Optional toppings: pesto, marinara sauce, garlic powder, parmesan (Parmigiano), balsamic vinegar, zucchini

Instructions

  1. 1Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water.
  2. 2Put the flour in a large bowl, make a well in the middle.
  3. 3Pour in the dissolved yeast, start mixing with your hands.
  4. 4Add the rest of the water gradually, with a pinch of salt.
  5. 5Knead the dough with both hands until smooth and elastic.
  6. 6Place the dough in a bowl, cover with a cloth, and leave to rise for about 4 hours or until doubled in size.
  7. 7Once risen, punch the dough lightly and spread it on an oiled baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil.
  8. 8Prepare the toppings: halve cherry tomatoes and mix with olive oil.
  9. 9Spread marinara sauce on one half of the pizza, pesto on the other.
  10. 10Add toppings such as tomatoes, zucchini, garlic powder, parmesan, or balsamic vinegar if you like.
  11. 11Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  12. 12Bake for about 20 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  13. 13Slice and serve hot.
