Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 120 g sugar
- 125 ml milk
- 80 ml sunflower oil
- 300 g plain flour
- 16 g baking powder
- Vanillin
- Cocoa powder
- Chocolate chips (a lot)
- Dulce de leche (caramel condensed milk)
- Butter or margarine (for greasing the pan)
- Flour (for dusting the pan)
Instructions
- 1Add the eggs and sugar to a large bowl and whisk vigorously until pale.
- 2Pour in the milk while whisking, then add the sunflower oil and mix until smooth.
- 3Gradually add the flour, mixing continuously to avoid lumps.
- 4Add the baking powder and vanillin and whisk until you have a smooth batter.
- 5Grease a loaf pan with butter or margarine and dust it lightly with flour.
- 6Fold a lot of chocolate chips into the batter.
- 7Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan.
- 8Add cocoa powder to the remaining batter and mix well.
- 9Pour the cocoa batter on top of the first layer.
- 10Sprinkle more chocolate chips on top.
- 11Drizzle dulce de leche generously over the batter, allowing it to swirl naturally.
- 12Bake in a ventilated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes.
- 13Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, then unmould.
- 14Slice the cake lengthwise, spread dulce de leche on the cut sides, close the cake and serve.
